During the 6th IPv6 task force meeting (17th of May 2009), Mobily and Bayant announced that they are now connected to a Tier-1 IPv6 provider, and offer an IPv6 connectivity to its customers without any extra cost. This announcement marks a major milestone on Saudi Arabia IPv6 strategy, by providing an IPv6 service by a facility based provider.
